Renovation is harder to price than new construction, because the existing building never matches its drawings. Our answer is to get the trades who need to see it on site while the walls are open, so the scope is settled early rather than turning up later as a change order.
Understanding structure, systems and finishes together is what makes this work. A wall you want removed is a framing question, then a mechanical question, then a finish question — and treating those as one problem instead of three contracts is the whole point.
